Club Tournaments - Entry Form
To be completed before 1st April 2026

 There is one form to be completed for all club tournaments  Once you have completed the form click on Submit which will send your entry to the organiser.
The Target Dates for completing each round will be displayed on the draw sheets when published.

In order to keep matches from falling behind the published schedule and thus compromising others, it has again been agreed that any match not played by the Target Date may have to be forfeited.
All Finals to be played on or before Finals Day September 5th


Association Croquet tournaments - Manager Brian Havill

AC Beginners  A one-day competition of 14-point games. to be arranged in Aug/Sept..
For players who have recently started playing Kwik/Short AC and those with a handicap of 20 or greater. Format will depend on numbers entering.

AC Club Handicap:  One 26-point game. Knock-out format Bisques awarded according to handicap difference. There are no handicap restrictions.

AC Level Advanced: One 26-point game. Knock-out format.

AC Single Ball :  Best of three 13 point level-play games. Knock-out format.

All Handicap matches to be played under Advantage rules

GC Level Play:
Played in best-of-three 13-point knock-out format

GC Club Handicap:

Played in best-of-three  13-point knock-out format. There are no handicap restrictions.

GC Ladies:
Best-of-three 13-point handicap matches, unless both players agree to play a single game.
No handicap restrictions. The format will be decided once the number of entrants is known

 GC Improvers handicap

Open to players who started playing from 2023 and now have a handicap of 10 or higher.
Played in a best-of-three knock-out format


GC Doubles  
Open to pairs with a combined handicap of 8 and above and will be played in a best-of-three 13-point league. You can enter either as a pair or as an individual, in which case you will be allocated a partner. The format will be decided once the number of entrants is known. 

Edward Martin:
A one-day Handicap Singles Tournament on Bank Holiday Monday 25th May. A maximum of 12 entries will be allowed. No handicap restrictions

CE GC All-England Handicap Best of three 13-point games. Maximum handicap is 14. The format will be decided once the number of entrants is known. A minimum of four entries is required for this to run. All local matches to be completed by 14 June. The winner(s) go forward to Area/National Finals.

Alabaster Memorial Doubles:  A one-day partner-mix-and-match Doubles event. Donation in aid of charity £5.  To be played on Saturday July 4th. 


Please, for all competitions:

· Consult your opponent and make a booking for each match on the online booking system.
Note the Target Date for completing each round, but play as early as possible within the window allowed.

· Double-bank as much as possible to maximise availability of the courts.

· After a match, record the result on the cards in the shelter, and on your handicap card.

· As winner (in knock-out format) contact your prospective opponent(s) to start planning the date of the next match.

·   If you and your next opponent have both completed your Round One matches (or if you both have byes), you may go ahead to play your Round Two match, even if other players have not completed Round One (and so on subsequently). 
 
·    Inform the organisers of the tournaments and your prospective opponents of your holiday plans – well in advance.   Minor adjustments may be possible to keep the programme going.
